As for the Persona/MegaTen games I actually did play the original wacky Americanized translation of Persona 1, got back into it with Eternal Punishment, then forgot about it again until 3 FES, which led me to P4, the Raidou Kuzunoha Devil Summoner games, and finally Nocturne, which I haven't played much of. Nocturne's definitely not easy, as you know! With P5 pushed back until April Nioh and Horizon: Zero Dawn are the only February releases I'm interested in and I'm not sold on either. I've never gotten the appeal of Dark Souls type games, even though Nioh has more of an Onimusha flavor to it, and I just can't shake the feeling that Horizon is going to be a letdown somehow.

Andrew, you know we'd never hear the end of it if someone did that! Populists who play to a sense of grievance often enjoy public support despite bad ideas, corruption and incompetence. Their followers appreciate the broad banner the guy works under and don't worry much about execution(s). As for combining them into two, apparently the crowd in Miami booed the Hell out of Kaepernick over his Castro statements. I can't say I feel sorry for him after all he's pulled.

3 and 4. I wish I could say I wondered who thought it was a good idea to run those ads, but then I remembered that the people who come up with and greenlight this crap are more concerned with virtue signaling than actually doing an effective job at whatever it is that they were hired for. And to think we get to put up with more and more of this until1 we get a Democrat president again. Oh joy of all joys... Wonder when Larry Correia's next book bomb is.

5. Don't get me started on Black Friday... I survived three of them in a row as a feces scrubber in Walmart and I've seen the madness firsthand, though thankfully I missed fistfights over $1 towels that the store manager and the cops had to break up one year. If you've got a shopping event that require police presence and a fire marshal that's notorious for violence and insanity you've definitely got a problem. Sadly, I don't see it going away any time soon since, if anything, it's been thoroughly infecting Thanksgiving itself these past few years. I'm glad doing Black Friday online orders is purely optional at my current job and, needless to say, I'm not in any hurry to even do that much.

5. Haven't seen any of the new ones or any of the old ones so no comments here.

6. Looking forward to the commentary on all counts. Yeah, I had to shake my head at the recount push... Maybe the Green Party thinks it owes the Clintons for Nader taking enough of Gore's votes to where Bush got in? Either way I hope the public is watching this meltdown and that the right never lets them or the left forget it.

As for my Turkey Day weekend all went well. Attendance was a bit lighter at my family's this year which was fine by me - I've never been much about crowds and I can never remember anyone beyond my aunt, uncle, cousins, and a few others. I didn't see many online deals that interested me this year either, both on Amazon and on Steam, but I did get a few game preorders that I wanted at a reduced price. And if you don't mind me asking, Anthony, what games did you get? I'm always up for new recommendations. And for the record said preorders were Tales of Berseria and the big one I've been wanting... The Persona 5 collector's edition...which, sadly, I won't be getting in time for my birthday anymore. Oh well.

- DanielArgentGalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01173296751792700318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6251675227852122352.post-37501733013854715572016-11-28T17:34:33.006-05:002016-11-28T17:34:33.006-05:00tryanmax, That's true. They're singing the praises of an affirmed dictator while fretting that Trump will be a despot. There is a sliver of difference between an authoritarian and a totalitarian. It says a lot that the left adores the former but dreads the latter.

On Black Friday, just the "door buster" ads are crazy. Didn't happen this year. 😭

On Recounts, It's apparently cool when Stein and Clinton assert voter fraud, but it's insane when Trump echoes the same thing. But then, like I said, the media isn't trying anymore. But that's not the funny part. The funny part is that, prior to the election, Trump refused to commit to accepting the results. Now that he's won, people are shocked that he isn't accepting the results? Seriously! The guy says exactly what he means to do and yet everyone is shocked when he does it.
