Voter Fraud: Tally Me Banana Republic

The left is working hard to turn the United States into a banana republic, and this needs to stop. It’s time that law enforcement in every state, county and city, and even at the federal level (cough cough Eric Holder), started taking voter fraud seriously, and putting people in jail. Take a look at what’s been going on recently:

Let’s start with some oldies but goldies from 2008:

• Nationwide: ACORN ran around the country filing fake voter registrations for people like the Dallas Cowboys and cartoon characters. Why does this matter? Because without the requirement that voters show identification, ACORN could then vote these fake ballots. The Democrats not only objected to prosecuting ACORN, they fought the elimination of ACORN's federal funding.

• Ohio: Workers were caught filling out ballots for people in retirement homes in Ohio, often without their knowledge, and were caught voting Democratic when the voter wanted to vote Republican.

• Nationwide: Military ballots were either sent out too late to be counted, or were not returned on time by the Pentagon. The same is happening again this year.

• Nationwide: Voters were shown to have voted twice in Minnesota, Florida and New York.

• Minnesota: Boxes of supposed ballots remained in the trunk of a car belonging to a Democratic election official in Minnesota for several days, and were suddenly "discovered" when the Democrats needed more votes to support Al Franken.

• Philadelphia: Black Panthers turned out to intimidate voters in Philadelphia. This case was ultimately dropped by the Justice Department for black racist reasons. . . something multiple sources have now confirmed. Indeed, a recent investigation uncovered widespread bias against white plaintiffs in the Justice Department’s Civil Right Division and a prevailing attitude that Civil Rights law “were not meant to protect whites.”

Now let’s look at some of this cycle’s problems:

• Nationwide: The Democrats have been caught planting fake Tea Party candidates in several states, including Michigan, California, New Jersey and Nevada. In Michigan, many of the candidates did not even know they were candidates until the media contacted them. The Democratic official responsible resigned, but was not prosecuted. This is a tactic used by all dictators from Zimbabwe to Venezuela.

• Chicago: A Democratic group spent the summer getting people to fill out vote-by-mail requests. This resulted in more than 900,000 requests. Here’s the catch, they had people send the requests to a Democratic Party office, not the state. The Democrats were then supposed to forward those to the state. Why does this matter? For one thing, it let the Democrats collect information on the voters. But more importantly, this let the Democrats canvas the voters to learn their preferences before sending in the ballot requests. And now it looks like thousands of those requests “somehow” have not been filed on time.

• Philadelphia: Voters were sent letters from a non-existent Pennsylvania Voter Assistance Office suggesting that they would not be allowed to vote if they did not request an absentee ballot. They were told to mail these requests to a Democratic Party office -- not the County Board of Elections. The Democrats then gathered the information and supposedly forwarded the ballots. Yet, as in Chicago, many were not sent to the Board of Elections until it became too late to have them processed.

• Nevada: Electronic voting machines were pre-programmed to support Democrat Harry Reid. The voting machine technicians are members of the SEIU Local 1107 (who support Harry Reid). There have also been differences in the number of votes cast on the machines and the paper logs.

• Nevada: The SEIU has been caught giving out Starbucks cards to voters to encourage them to vote for Harry Reid, a violation of Nevada law.

• Daytona Beach, Fla.: Dayton Beach City Commissioner Derrick Henry and his campaign manager Genesis Robinson were arrested and charged with absentee ballot fraud when it was discovered that they obtained absentee ballots for people who never requested ballots. In some instances, the ballots would arrive at the voter’s home only to have campaign workers appear at the home and retrieve the ballot.

• California: Barbara Boxer has sent a letter to teachers asking them to solicit students to volunteer for her campaign, a violation of California law.

• North Carolina: Electronic voting machines are magically turning votes cast for Republicans into Democratic votes. . . funny how it never happens the other way around.

• New Jersey: Wayne Dibofsky, the associate director of the New Jersey Education Association, has been caught on tape describing how voting machines with votes already pre-cast were delivered to a nonexistent voting location in New Jersey in 1997, and how those machines helped carry a Republican district for the Democrat.

And this is just what's been uncovered so far.

This is the kind of fraud that would get the State Department swinging into action if it were happening in some other country. Jimmy Carter would be demanding international monitors. This is the sort of thing you expect in the Third World or some “worker’s paradise” like Cuba. That this is happening in the United States is a true indictment both of our election system, which needs serious reform, and of a Democratic Party that has abandoned democracy for a system where elections are stolen and spoils are awarded.

It is time this came to an end, and people like Harry Reid, Al Franken and dozens (if not hundreds) of other Democrats need to be sent to prison where they belong.

**** Don't forget to pass around the Election Guide to remind people why they need to vote the Democrats out!****

  1. Andrew: We now have a fraud effort in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. Democrat functionaries are going home to home, telling people they're there to pick up their absentee ballots. So far, there is no count on how many of those ballots were collected and/or delivered, but even the network affiliates are warning people not ever to hand their absentee ballots to anyone (unless they physically take it to their polling place and hand it to an elections worker).

  2. Lawhawk, Wow. I wish I could say this was unbelievable, but it's not. This is truly ridiculous -- the mockery they are making of our elections. I seriously hope that someone start prosecuting these people and locking them up. Right now it seems to be the perfect crime because nothing can happen to you, even if you get caught -- they just pretend it didn't happen and then tell you not to do it again.

  3. Joel, Me too. What's worse, I suspect there is a LOT more that hasn't been discovered. For example, if they've done this absentee ballot thing in two cities, then they've done it around the country.

We really need to reform the system and put and end to this garbage.

(By the way, if you know more of more incidences, please list them -- I'm thinking of creating a place where we can record all of this, so people don't lose track of what the left has done.)

  4. I agree, this makes me sick. It also makes me angry. Why don't they arrest these people? How can people get away with this? Why can't they stop this? I don't understand.

  5. Ed, I think the biggest reason is lack of political will. In other words, Democrats won't prosecute this because it helps them. Republicans won't prosecute it because they're afraid it will make them sound like they're going on a witch hunt.

There are a lot of things that can be done about it. For example, require a valid identification before voting. Require people to be registered at least a month out. Dip people's thumbs in ink (like in Iraq) to keep them from voting twice. Make sure that there are enough poll observers to watch everything. Hire independent verification of all machines, and have them be responsible for maintaining possession of ballots. Add hefty prison terms for even simple voter fraud and start prosecuting people. Etc.

  6. Well that and the courts overturn laws.

DENVER -- The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that a man who used a stranger's Social Security number in applying for a car loan didn't commit criminal impersonation.

...we're in the best of hands.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Ponderosa, Wonderful. I didn't see that, but I am sadly not surprised.

And you're right, it's been the courts who have said that requiring voters to produce identification is an illegal imposition on the voting process. How utterly ridiculous!

  8. Wow, this is beyond ridiculous and the Demoncrats had the nerve to cry foul in 2000.

  9. TJ, I agree completely. And the whole 2000 thing was a lie. That was Democrats complaining that Democratic officials somehow weren't counting enough Democratic votes. So they went to a Democratic court as the Democratic officials became trying to find ways to justify counting votes that weren't counted before. . . and they still came up short. That was an attempt to steal an election that was averted -- unlike Minnesota, where they kept "finding" votes until they had enough.

  10. Andrew,

I found out that most places wont allow cameras or video equipment in polls. This will make it hard to prove fraud.

  11. I think it was the 9th circuit court (surprise!!!) that overturned AZ's law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. Nice.

  12. I have to say that the first time I voted in NY I was flummoxed. [Yes, I said flummoxed!] All my years of voting in Texas I always had to show ID before I could vote. Here you barely have to prove you are a sentient being. You can walk in to any polling place and if you are not on the official rolls you can just fill out a form. It's insane.

I have a friend who was not officially a citizen who said he wanted to vote so badly that he was just going to go and see what happened. I convinced him that he should just become a citizen and he did! And in 2008 got to vote as a full fledged legal citizen. Fortunately he is also a Conservative, so not ALL immigrants are in the bag for the Democrats.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Joel, That's true. But that doesn't mean people can't sneak them in. Also, that doesn't prevent the "authorities" from doing an undercover operation. And it doesn't stop people from getting others to confess on camera what they've done.

Or doing something like the ACORN videos where you go down to the Democratic office that asked you to file for an absentee ballot and you record your conversation. Apparently, in Philadelphia they were meeting with people and telling them to forge the signatures of relatives, etc. on the ballot requests so they could get more than one ballot.

That's the kind of evidence that needs to be gotten.

Plus, we need actual reform of the procedures -- require a valid state drivers license that matches the information in the voter rolls, require multiple poll watchers, protect the ballots the same way the police protect evidence, and create special units to investigate and prosecute voter fraud.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tam, It would not surprise me. I think the 9th Circuit was also the first to hold that requiring voters to produce a form of identification was an "undue burden" on the voting process. What a bunch of bunk!

How can that be a burden? Everyone (well, everyone who should be here) has an id of some sort and we show it to employers, to our banks, to cash a check, to buy cars or homes, to get insurance, and even to get into bars. . . yet somehow, it's too hard to show it to vote? That bull. That's an attempt to let voter fraud run rampant.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bev, First, LOL! I love your use of the word "flummoxed"!

Secondly, liberal places no longer require identification because they don't want anyone to feel "disenfranchised" by the meanies who would keep them from casting votes. Conservative states still do it the right way. . . for the most part.

Third, I know a LOT of immigrants. Some are hard left (especially the Germans), but the rest are very proud, very conservative Americans (or near-Americans) who see America just like most Americans see America, and they resent the left trying to destroy that America and turn it into the places they escaped from.

  16. OK I wearing my tinfoil...

My bet: Americans aren't at all apathetic about voting and it is yet another whopper brought to you by the Dems, Unions and the MSM.

If a person were conscientious enough to register why wouldn’t they vote? It is getting easier and easier to vote with early and mail-in voting.

So a person moves to a city, automatically becomes a lib, registers and then doesn’t vote. Right.

Chicago, Cook County and State Gov’t. All Dems.
    But, what 50%? 40% don’t vote.
    Oh really?

    Who’s watching the watchers?

Perhaps more good will come out of this election than we realize...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Most of the immigrant citizens and near citizens that I know are from Eastern bloc countries and are very conservative. They know what it's like to live in a dictatorial regime and it's why they came here as soon as they could. They see what's happening right now and they don't like it one bit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ponderosa, I would have called that a tinfoil hat in the past, but it's not so easy to dismiss these days.

I do know a lot of people who don't vote, but I too think something is wrong with the numbers.

I suspect the first problem with the turn out numbers is that there are probably a lot of people on the rolls who either don't exist or are counted twice. I know when I left Colorado for college, for example, I got a local drivers license in the new state only to discover that I still had a valid license in Colorado because the other state never notified Colorado. So for the cost of a $20 replacement license, I could have been a legal resident of both states as far as anyone knew and voted in both states. And even though I was honest, that still meant that both states had me on their voter rolls.

In the past, I would have assumed this was probably the largest reason for the low turn out figures. BUT... when you see 900,000 requests for ballots passing through Democratic hands in Chicago before they are supposedly passed on to the state, you have to wonder how many Republican requests just sort of mysteriously disappeared?

That happened to my parents when mail-in voting first started in Colorado, the locals mailed out the ballots too late to have them count. They've fixed that, but all it would take is a few hard-core political types in the clerk's office to make ballots start disappearing again.

So, sadly, I don't think your conspiracy theory is that far off.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Bev, That's been my experience too with Eastern Europeans, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cubans, Indians and Caribbean islanders. Sadly, many of the immigrants I know from places like Germany are all far-left and further left. I think there is something messed up in their culture that makes them see the government as "The Great Provider." It's twisted.

  20. DUQ, I feel my blood pressure rising. American Thinker had an article on this today too, they mentioned a lot of what you have here, though not all of it. They also mentioned that in Houston, they put out ballots with only the Democrat's name on them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. DUQ, Do you have the link? I hadn't heard about the Houston thing, but that's another one that should get someone charged. How can that be a simple mistake -- especially if they actually handed those out?

    I also read this.

  24. Andrew rules are for the other people (conservatives). I like to call it the Mexican mulligan, and you can extend out to any liberal group. Mexicans can drive without a license, insurance, falsify documents SS# etc. in some cases they can get away with murder, rape, robbery, drugs. My point is, how can we expect anyone to enforce any law if something as blatant as this goes on with the lefts blessings. Voter fraud to me falls into this category of a Mexican mulligan. As we turn this country back to the right all of these issues must be dealt with for our republic to survive IMO. Either we are a country of laws or as you say we’re a banana republic.

Oh, I like to ask my representatives to please provide me with a list of laws that I can ignore, I’m still waiting.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Joel, The black swan article is interesting, but I'm not sure what it really says. It just seems to say that to get a black swan election, we would need to win 150 seats, and since strange things like this happen, that is possible. I don't agree with that reasoning (it's circular), though I do think a 100+ swing is a definite possibility. But that will require everything to go right. I guess we'll see.

The other article is guess work based on assumptions -- the idea that Democrats are voting straight ticket Republican and that this is why the Democrats are in Delaware campaigning. I think a more likely reason why they are there is to support their "firewall" strategy. Basically, they think that if they can get a string of victories in the early evening in blue states -- New York, Connecticut, Delaware, that may affect the voter turn out in the west and swing a couple percentage points to the Democrats, just as they did in Florida a few years ago when they declared a winner before the polls were closed in the panhandle (Republicans).

Is it possible there are internal polls showing them in trouble? Sure -- and I hope there are. But he hasn't presented any evidence of it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Andrew,

No, I think there is something else going on. The polls are tightening up, but in strange ways.

Miller is now considered third in one poll.

O'Donnell is now trailing 21 points when she was within five a few days ago.

Something else is going on. I don't have something I can point to, it is just a feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Stan, I agree entirely and let me tell you, it infuriates me that laws only seem to apply to some people.

Your example of the "Mexican Mulligan" is a good one -- just like the "Celebrity Mulligan" where they seem to get away with things that would send normal people to jail.

We need to re-establish the rule of law in this country, and to do that, we need to start arresting people and sending them to jail when they break these laws. . . no matter how favored they are by the left. That means Democrats, celebrities, office holders, local glitterati, illegal aliens, etc. They all need to be held to the same rule of law that the rest of us are held to.

It's time to fix the damage they've done to America!

What do you think is going on? What sorts of things are bothering you?

    Our minds work well together!

  31. Andrew,

I read some polls. Some are from California and some are from Delaware. The polls basically state that California is definately going to Democrats. Likewise with Delaware.

It is the internals of these polls. Some are missing whole columns like 18 to 34voters. Rural wasn't counted in a California poll.

The Delaware poll never even listed where they asked the people. Just 727 people. It didn't differentiate anything. It was from a College. For all I knew, it could have been done on Campus.

I have a feeling the methodology in the polls are wrong for every poll and I can't shake that feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Joel, Right now the left (Democrats, colleges, MSM) are busy putting out fake polls. they do this before every election in the hopes of depressing Republican turn out and encouraging Democratic turn out.

When Democrats hear that suddenly they are surging, that makes them want to vote to be the one to push them over the top. Republicans on the other hand give up voting because they think that the election is over so voting doesn't make a difference.

This is nothing new, it's just more blatant because they are desperate.

I trust Rasmussen's polls because he's putting out good data and has a history of accuracy. By comparison, the polls from PPP or Marist or Harvard or any number of DNC organizations are nothing but propaganda with strange samples and incredible assumptions about who will vote and in what percentages.

What's troubling me right now is the voter fraud. It's amazingly blatant. And if so much is being exposed, how much more is there that we haven't seen?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Andrew and Joel, I hear you on the polls, but I'm with Joel, it worries me they're getting closer everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ed, I can understand your nervousness, but don't listen to any of the polls right now, it's all propaganda.

Also, as I always say, watch the deeds, not the words. If they really believed the race was tightening, the Democrats wouldn't be trying to position themselves for the loss -- which is what the "secret money" article was about.

  38. TJ, Yeah, I don't buy that either. First, why does these mistakes always favor the Democrats? Secondly, why are they happening around the country? And third, if we've caught these, then how many haven't been caught yet?
