No Voter Fraud, Really!

When will they ever learn? I mean, really, is it so hard to remember that when someone asks you how to commit fraud to say "That's illegal! Don't do it or I will turn you in!"?

Answer: Yes, yes, it is...

Well, it must be like fishing in a bathtub for James O'Keefe and Project Veritas. If you don't know what I am talking about, here's a sample of Mr. O'Keefe's handiwork.

Let me set the scene. Undercover reporter with a hidden camera makes contact with a prominent 11-term Virginia Congressman's campaign "Field Director" who just happens to also be the Congressman's son. Said reporter proceeds to inquire about how he can vote more than once to make sure that Obama wins...well, let's go to the tape:

And if you think that this is just an isolated case, here's another one. This time in at an Election Regional Field office in Houston, Texas:

Now, what is really interesting is that Patrick Moran, the subject of the first video is the son of 11-term Democrat Virginia Congressman James Moran who just sent a letter to AG Eric Holder demanding an investigation into Republican voter registration fraud. The Houston Field Director Stephanie Caballero was a paid staff member of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headed by Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, another voter fraud denier. For the record, both Field Directors have been forced to resign, but not before...well, nothing really. One would think that "voter fraud" issues would be high on the list of newsworthy stories. But then again, it probably on the same dusty and unused list where asking questions about murdered Ambassadors resides.

Ironically, these are the same Democrats who are increasingly and more loudly floating the trial balloon that if President Obama loses this election, it will because the Republicans stole the election through...yes...voter fraud.

So let's review, we do not need voter id laws because there is no voter fraud, but if Obama loses this election it will be because of voter fraud. Do you think that Democrats actually ever listen to themselves?

Any comments?

  2. Love it when Obama early voted and they aksed him for a photo ID.

This has always been the "elephant in the room"...."the 800lb gorilla"...name em all. Everyone knows their is voter fraud, and has been for generations...since we started this country as a matter of fact (free alcohol if you come and vote!)

We need to change the whole process and tighten it up. Similar to the purple fingers. Something...this has really gotten out of control.

  3. Bev, I am not at all surprised. I suspect there is a lot more voter fraud going on than people realize because our system is too dependent on good faith. I'm not sure there is enough to actually change outcomes, but there is certainly enough to raise questions that should never need to be asked in America.

We need a much tighter system that knows who voters are and lets them (and the system) verify that the right people are voting and only once.

  4. Patriot, I find the objections to people showing ID to be incredibly telling. That's evidence to me that those people want to keep the system open to abuse.

  5. Hunkering down is hard! This hurricane better be worth it!

Anyway, Patriot, what is it with the early voting push? I've never seen anything like it. Frankly, I think it creates more fraud. Personally, I like going to the polls on election day. In 2008, I had pneumonia and I dragged myself to the polls. I was going to call an ambulance to take me, if I couldn't get there under my own steam.

I do think that it's pretty funny that Obama has to show his id. Do you think he even had it? And where is he registered anyway.

  6. The same question needs to be asked of Democrats again and again: "If an ID card is needed to attend your own party's convention, why shouldn't it be needed to vote?"

  7. Andrew, I don't GET the objections to showing ID. I really don't. The bogus objection that poor people don't have ID is just that...bogus.

  8. Bev, I get where it came from originally -- out of things like IQ tests and other requirements imposed in the South to keep blacks from voting. But those days are over and everyone has an ID now if they are here legally. You need it for everything. So to object to this is either to live in the way past or it's an attempt to keep the system open to fraud.

As to early voting, I already did. :) I love early voting.

  9. I don't object to early voting. As a matter of fact, I don't understand we've only had a 12 hour window on one day every four years to vote for THE most important position in the world. It's not 'early voting" per se that I object to, it's this sudden push to vote early that I have never seen before. Like if you don't vote early, your vote won't be counted. YOu might DIE or get incapacitated in some way.

Btw, who'd you vote for? I'm "undecided" and will make up my mind when I walk into the voting stall. Well, last time I voted on the floor because there weren't enough voting stalls. Don't ask. It's NYC's own brand of voting problems - electronic voting.

  10. Bev, I think the push is a realization that people are voting early, and so the campaigns want to play to that now. In Colorado, 25% of voters have already voted apparently. So it makes sense to try to join that wave.

(I'll tell you what too... Obama has some good ads out suddenly, i.e. he finally "gets it." But because of early voting it may be too late to reach a lot of people who could otherwise have been reached if he had gotten it earlier or if there were no early voting.)

As for who I voted for, I went down the list until I recognized a name. I think it was Rosanne Barr and Cindy Sheehan or something like that. Maybe it was Kermit the Frog... not sure. ;)

  11. Oh, no! Say it ain't so!! The NYT has endorsed Obama. I'm shocked, SHOCKED!!! This can't be possible? How did this happen??? [she says with flat, monotone voice...]

  12. Bev, I'm stunned. I was sure this was the year the NYT would finally endorse the Republican. There must be a first time, right?

  13. Bev and Andrew......I just absentee voted. As a committed Libertarian (no marijuana jokes please dude) I voted enthusiastically for Romney/Ryan....without a frikking moments hesitation.

I guess I would be considered one of the golden "independents" everyone lusts for. This Benghazi treasonous debacle just drove me over the edge. The one absolute authority we invest in our CINC is to protect Americans from foreign attacks. Obama and his team not only dropped the ball on this one, but their actions have showed them to be incompetent, traiterous pussies.

Americans crying out for help and our so-called leaders sit back and watch in real time as they are slaughtered. Bastards.

  14. DUQ - I realize that, of course the Old Media is endorsing Obama. If and when Romney wins, they will have to start reporting the news and investigating political issues again. Romney will not be able to get away with any dead Ambassadors on HIS watch. And the economy better recover quickly because it will be Romney's fault if it doesn't, not Bush's...er...Obama's.

  16. Patriot - That is why the MSM is hesitant to report or investigate the Benghazi cover up. It will hurt Obama's chances at the polls.

As a die-hard independant myself, I will have no hesitation in voting for Romney. I'm just old-fashioned enough to want to go to the polls on election day. I'm weird that way. I kind of like standing in line. It's about the only thing I WILL stand in line for.

  17. Bev......I wonder if stormaggedon is the "October Surprise" everyone's been talking about?!

  18. Patriot, Are you implying the White House has a weather machine just like Commentarama does? ;)

Congrats on your vote. I think you made the right choice.

  19. Andrew......I think the storm did it for me. Obama promised to stop the rise of the oceans, and.....have you seen the storm surge on the Atlantic coast?!?!

  20. Now I'm jealous that I won't be voting early. Then again, it's kind of like opening Christmas presents early. The anticipation ends.

  21. Patriot, That's nature resetting itself. For 3.5 years, he stopped the oceans... now it's payback.

  22. Bev, If you know the secret handshake, you can vote early AND vote on election day. :)

  23. Patriot, if you didn't want Libertarian-marijuana jokes, you shouldn't have said the word "dude." :-)

  24. Patriot and Andrew - Hey, I didn't know Commentarama has its own weather machine? Why didn't I know this??? Can I put in a requisition for a snow on Christmas Eve?? It's just makes it so much more special when it's snowing on Christmas Eve...

  25. I still don't have any faith in our system. Look at the recent voter fraud expose in VA by James O'Keefe's group. And this was the Congressman's son for goodness sake. Funny how they all seem to be Democrats and leftist groups that are exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bev......Amen to the Christmas Eve snow. Quite magical when it happens. But I guess we can't go back to caroling on Christmas Eve, as the President said "the 50's called and they want their society back."

  27. Let It Snow....Let It Snow....Let It Snow

  28. Patriot - Maybe there just isn't the liberal equivalent of James O'Keefe. No one doing "gotcha" journalism. Oh, wait, that would be the entire MSM wouldn't it? Hmmmm....

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bev...You're right!!! They exposed Romney in an hour long breaking news program, that he pulled a prank while in high school!!! The cad!

Must have been when he was hanging with "The Choom Gang"

  30. True enough Patriot. Last year, my parents hosted the 50th Anniversary of their caroling group that my Jewish father started. It was fun. But since all the original families had moved on, and the tradition had died long ago, it was interesting to see the reaction when we knocked on the doors to sing Christmas songs. Some didn't know what to make of it. That was very sad. I loved caroling when I was a kid.
