Howdy folks. Sorry I've been gone for a while. I had a really bad case of strep which morphed into a sinus infection right as it was finally healing. So I've been kind of out of it for a couple week. In other news, I guess there's an election coming up. I have no idea whose going to win. Blech. How are all of you?
FYI, There's a new Monsterpiece Theater at the film cite! It's the Mummy!
ReplyDeleteNot much to do about it (the election). I am still unable to log in as Tenn Jed
ReplyDeleteActually It worked! Glad you are feeling better. I had a small stroke but with minimal damage to my brain tissue. Glad ACB is on the bench
ReplyDeleteHi Andrew and Jed, glad you are both feeling better! Really happy about ACB, too. Of course, none of the swearing in was covered by CNN or MSLSD (not a shocker). I'd never watch those networks anyway. There's not enough Lava soap or firehose pressure to clean up afterwards.
ReplyDeleteI saw an article that Google searches were peaking for mail in voters who wanted to change their votes now that the Biden crime family expose is out there.
ReplyDeleteJed, Wow! I'm sorry to hear about the stroke. I'm glad you're all right!
ReplyDeleteHi Jon, Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm still surprised it's a surprise to anyone that Biden takes foreign money. This is no secret.
This is going to be an interesting election. Blech.
Glad to see you're back, Andrew. The 'Net was quiet without you. Then again, I 've been going back-and-forth between 'monking' it out and then binging on election articles. Man, I hate it when an election overtakes Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI talked about this with an anchor when I was in news, complaining how the election (2012, in thsi example), wrecked the Haunting Season stuff. No coverage on the best home decorations, people happily shrieking near haunted houses, zombie car washes, or dance mobs trying to reset the record for most people dancing to 'Thriller' at once. Sigh... At least he completely sympathized with me.
That being said, it's good to see the time I spent on the edge of my sanity covering the En-Bandaged One didn't go to waste like so many statues to Anubis.
this ballot harvesting and tossing of mail ins is worrisome. the battleground states are the issue, e.g. Philly
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know what happened, Andrew, and I'm glad you and Jed are all right. Yeah, the election is pretty nerve-wracking to watch at this point and I definitely share Jed's concerns about shenanigans with the mail-in ballots, especially with the Dems being absolutely shameless about how far they're willing to go to win this. I just don't know what to make of some of their actions, though, especially when it comes to the laptop story. A lot of the left/Dems' actions strike me as desperation rather than confidence but that doesn't necessarily mean they're losing and I'm also not sure if all the Trump rallies, car parades, and such are actually going to translate into action. Regardless, these next few weeks are going to be exhausting.
ReplyDeleteJed, What troubles me is that so many people have lost any sense of right and wrong.
ReplyDeleteHi Daniel, You're welcome. It's been a rough few weeks. Even now, I feel really tired still.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to make of the Dems. At times, they seem desperate. At other times, they don't seem to care at all. It's weird.
Andrew; I'm so glad you're back! I don't believe that I've commented this year but I read every post. I'm aware of your previous health issues so when you disappeared for a while I thought that it was health related. I was worried about you. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to post again. And Jed, I'm so sorry! I want to extend to to you all my hopes and prayers for a quick recovery. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to post. Best wishes and thoughts to both of you.

Thank GypsyTyger. This was a really strong strep.
