Leftist Dogma

Howdy folks. I'm back from vacation. It was beautiful, but hot. The people were incredibly nice. They also weren't at all insane, which is not true here anymore. Indeed, one of the things that bothers me these days is how absolutely batsh*t crazy everyone has become here. The 'right' has gone totally lunatic and the left has devolved into this dark religious-like cult. One aspect of this cult is that they are awash in dogma -- things that are obviously false, but which they take as TRUTH and which they miss no opportunity to espouse. You see this over and over on every topic. Here are some examples darkening my internet pages.

• The wildfire in Maui is the result of a windstorm created by a natural event -- a Pacific storm -- mixing with sparks, and hitting wooden structures. Yet, no report on Maui would be complete without referencing "global warming." So say we all. Oooohm. Nothing about this in any way is the result of global warming, so why add it to the story? Because they are 'true believers'... who see their Jesus in every piece of toast.

• There is a black NFL assistant coach (Eric Bieniemy) who has become a poster boy for racism on the left by the fact that a series of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinators all got head coaching jobs and he did not. See, it must be racism because they were white and he's black and he was the only one not hired, so it can only be racism.
So say we all. Oooohm.  And anyone who suggests there might be something wrong with the guy is clearly racist. So say we all. Oooohm. The thing is, unlike the others, Eric doesn't call plays. And there's probably a reason for that. What's more Kansas City just let him walk to another team as a coordinator. In the rational world, this suggest there's something wrong with him. If he couldn't call plays like the others and they let Mr. Amazing go, something is wrong. But that's blasphemy. He's a victim of racism. So say we all. Oooohm.

So the other day, his new head coach criticized him for rubbing the players the wrong way. This brought down the fury of the true believers in the sports media upon him. Why would this man criticize our blessed Victim of Racism? The racist! So say we all. Oooohm. The coach apologized, which would not have happened if Eric had been white, but the true believers didn't stop. They are speculating that this Hispanic coach is racist. So say we all. Oooohm. They are speculating that he's trying to protect his own job... somehow. And they are calling out the players for being racists. Black players. Seriously.  The narrative is that black players have racistly accused a black coach of being too harsh on them and, in so doing, they have been abetted by a racist Hispanic coach who wants to save his job from the Blessed Victim. This is the most twisted application of dogma you can imagine. It's the kind of thing that makes you realize how utterly un-bound by reality the left has become. And it's not the first time you've heard this either?  Have you noticed how many of the "racist" cops are black or other minorities?  This is dogma spewed by the deluded.

• The US had over 50,000 suicides last year.  This is a huge increase and a record. The liberal response is... wait for it... "the availability of guns" is to blame. So say we all. Oooohm. Bullship. There are basically the same number of guns in the US today as last year as the year before that and the year before that and the decade before that. There is the same access to guns too. To blame a non-change for causation is ridiculous. That defies every law of reality from the laws of physics to the law of human nature. Something else had to cause this.  So why blame guns?  Because leftist dogma says guns are to blame, whether it makes sense or not.  (What's more, blaming guns avoids some awkward questions, like "is it possible that the hate we've been spewing on people is causing suicides?" (Hint: yes, it is).) So it must be guns. So say we all. Oooohm.

It is driving me nuts that no matter what you talk about, no matter what the issue, leftists inject their theology no matter how obviously false it is or how irrelevant. You can't turn anywhere without it being shoved down your throats.

  1. Welcome back Andrew,

The suicide increase being blamed on guns is an absolute falsehood as you say. I honestly believe the suicidal increase is entirely due to the loneliness and isolation that has crept into our society.
There has been a huge correlation between individuals killing themselves as a result of not having any motivation to grow old. If you follow what I mean here, a big part of this trend in my mind stems from a few major factors:

Many people have no unifying message to build communities upon: meaning no friends and poor social workplaces.
More importantly many men don't have wife's & children to look forward to... and many women likewise have lost out on having children. We all know why this has happened... it's mostly been caused by the Media/"Art" and leftist's dogmatic push to tear down traditionalism and replace it with a nanny state and materialism at large.
What I mean by "Art" and the media: Everything from television to pop songs demand for men to be un-masculine material driven knuckleheads; and for women to be single girl-boses for their peek lives. Once people reach that stage they tend to regret it and some commit suicide due to desperation.

There are many other factors, but I really do think its just a lack of motivation to continue on due to not having anything to look forward to. It's just un-natural for most humans to go through life entirely based on materialism. Plus expecting a top down solution from government to save them... it just doesn't work.

Another thing is religion being replaced with politics... but that is a whole other conversation.

It sucks, but the best thing to combat this societal illness is to teach the younger generations how awful top down control from bureaucrats has been (based off our own lived experience).

  4. Anon 1, I think he's talking about the folks on the right who are the "Trump cult" - the ones who blindly follow him very much in the same way that most leftists will blindly follow just about anyone on their side without question. Unfortunately, folks like this aren't making things any easier for rational people on either the right or left. And yes, there are actually some rational folks on the left out there. I never in my life thought Bill Maher would be rational, but he's impressed me lately. He's willing to sit down with folks on the right and have a civil conversation, and he's actually called his own side out for not being civil to people on the right of the aisle.

  5. Hey Andrew, Jed here. I was on vacation myself, but got seriously ill. Not sure I am completely out of the woods yet, but hope so. We have 320,000,000 in this country. While you can still get a good education, there are many many who don’t thanks to the failure of public school system, and an extremely liberal college system. Couple that with the lack of a good media system, and we are in terminal idiocracy. I really think the country is about ready to beak apart. It is sad. I also like Kyle’s point. A lot of younger people are losing the traditional incentives to grow old. I saw the same thing as you did on the Lahaina fires. Very sad.

  6. Hey Jed, I'm not sure if you are both comments above but let me comment on the first block comment.

First, I don't care about anonymous comments like the one above. Don't need those people in my life.

Secondly, if you can't see that 'the right' has gone insane then you are blind. The talk radio 'right', the 'Freedom Caucus' and their supporters and the Trumpettes are conspiratorial fools and liars who are destroying conservatism and driving the nation's push to the left... even at a time when the left is flailing. What's more, these self-described 'genuine conservatives' are in no way, shape or form conservative. They are grumpy f*cks who have fallen for a cult of personality and victimization. That is all they are. They are the flip side of black nationalists and hardcore feminists and conservatism needs to rid themselves of these idiots.

What's sad to me is seeing a lot of the actual conservatives I know having lost all sense of reality. They've lost track of issues that matter and obsess over the fringiest of crap, they're falling for conspiracies and lies, and they've developed this bunker mentality that has paralyzed them. All of this is coming from talk radio, Trump and a media that sensationalizes and flat out misleads.

  7. Jed,

Secondly, I hope you are all right! I wish you the best! :)

Colleges are a major problem. I absolutely agree with that. They have become re-education centers in the worse way. On the one hand, they radicalize blacks and young women and indoctrinate them in this lunatic religion of the left. And then, even things like business schools and science schools they are forcing non-believers to act like believers in the hopes that this becomes reflex thinking. All of this is then continued by corporate America, which has become an enemy of America, conservatism and common sense.

On the point about idiocracy, I agree. It's honestly so bad that at times I actually ponder if there isn't some massive conspiracy to make left and right so idiotic and obsessed with their own idiocy to intentionally to distract the public from an elite that have really become despicable. It's seriously that bad. Ultimately, I don't think there's any conspiracy but it is shocking to see the things so many people now believe.

The Hawaiian thing is terrible. What a tragedy. And an outrage that people (the left) want to politicize it for their own obsessions.

  8. Hi Kyle,

I think your comments on the suicide thing are quite excellent. Let me give you a proper answer by writing my response as an article. I think it's well worth discussing! :)

  9. Hey Andrew, I just read your new article, it was right on point!

In regards to infighting and the problems faced on the Right in general: I usually refrain from commenting on it… As it is very subjective from each individuals perspective and their respective social circles.

With that said, from my warped independent view point: most individuals that identify with the “MAGA“ movement are alright IMO. You have to remember a lot of these people are *not* conservatives… most are independents and libertarians. Many are ex Union-Dems/ReaganDems.

In my opinion, What your describing in regards to conservatives being taken in by conspiracies/hyperbole is due to complete indifference. No one on the Right cares to call out crazies in their midst because of how much more nuts the woke movement comes off in comparison. That and they don't want to be shouted down by the crazies.
I think if you sat down and had a conversation, most individuals would come around to a reasonable perspective.

One aspect of the Right that I cant stand is the knuckle head Bro movement spearheaded by Andrew Tate and others. They are just not a good example for younger generations… they are the Right Wing equivalent to the girl power Leftoid movement IMO.

As for Trumpettes, I view them as a minority… they come off as far more prevalent due to social media. They do exist and there is a cult of personalty around Trump.
I mean some people are comparing Trump to Jesus which is blatantly stupid lol.

In regards to Trump and the charges:
As far as I'm concerned most of the charges on Trump are witch-trial Esq crap.
I just cant believe that our corrupt, Uni-Party Elites consisting of neo-liberals/neo-cons are rallying around to “Save Democracy” from the Orange Man. I think in realty Trump is alright, and if re-elected he will implement mild reforms... Reforms that would set our Uni-Party overlords back quite a lot. I think that is why the Uni-Party is going at him so hard.

Trump is just a knuckle head verbally. The big problem with Trump is his inability to contain his ego and vanity driven goals. As a result he tends to surround himself with snakes and yes men that cause problems within the MAGA movement (Chris Christie as an example).

With all that said I don't see anyone else winning besides Trump. I personally like Vivek but I don't think he's viable. Desantis has screwed himself too much over the last 4 months IMO. As for the others, just no. I mean come on, Chris Christie? The others are mostly neo-cons that would continue the usual slide into oligarchy, just at a slightly slower pace than their Democrat competition.

    As for the Dems:
RFK Jr has some good views on censorship, however he is a socialist and hates guns… so that's a major no for me. Biden is right down there with dinosaur bones so I will not be voting for him. The others are all crap too. Neo-libs or Socialists… take your pick.

IMO I think were stuck with Trump. Honestly based off his 2017-2019 presidency, I don't think that's such a bad thing. Whether or not he will win is another argument. But I'm not clairvoyant so I cant say how 2024 will go. I just hope for the best.

Lastly, I fully understand if you disagree with me. Its a complex situation, and I’m almost certain that I’ve glossed over some major points that go against my views on the current situation.
