Howdy folks! I won't be around tonight because I'm doing a sleep study. Oh joy. So share your thoughts while I'm gone. Keep it clean... or don't. :)

  2. Howdy Bev! So my study concluded that I can't sleep at sleep centers. Hmm. Sad.

  3. Yeah, isn't that they way they always turn out? Sleep in strange places anxiety. Doesn't medical science have some kind electronic app so that you can monitor yourself in your own environment that is relayed to your doctor yet?

  4. Bev, The biggest problem is all the wires. It's like being turned into a cyborg. :( Every time you move, you end up a tangled mess.

  5. I have only seen videos of the process, but there looks to be a lot of uncomfortable wires. I know that they have vests that a patient can wear under their clothes to monitor heart issues. You'd think that they would have some kind of advanced wireless electronic device that one could wear to monitor sleep patterns. My FitBit has a function to monitor sleep movement and there are phone apps, but obviously those are not "medical diagnosis" grade.

  6. Other topic - Why is the US prosecuting the FIFA guys as opposed to like any other country that actually cares about soccer/football?

  7. "It's like being turned into a cyborg."

Andrew, does that mean you now have the plan and means to overthrow the queen and take over the Borg Collective?

  8. Bev, It is very uncomfortable because almost every time you move, you end up knocking some wire off your body. You really need to be a peaceful sleeper for it to work well.

As for soccer, the reason is simple. It's the same reason we do everything else. No one else has the nerve.

  9. Jenner has cited Lewinksky as an inspiration. No evidence Bill swings that way but Hillary should watch her man.

  10. I've been thru two sleep studies, the first one over 20 years was horrible, the last a few years ago wasn't real bad...you can do it..

  11. Critch, They are apparently planning to send me back with sleeping pills next time. I managed less than 20 minutes in 6 hours this time.

  12. Anthony, Who knows with Bill! I'm not sure he's that particular to check what he's dealing with before he starts.

  13. Andrew, in that case, I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords!
