When last we left our Pinocchio of a Vice President, he had lied about his family background and his education, and shown neither an understanding that he did anything wrong, nor remorse. So does that mean Slow Joe doesn’t understand the difference between right and wrong? No, he understands quite clearly, as you will see in this week’s. . . The Weekly Bidenism.
On September 3rd, of this year, Slow Joe was busy explaining Team Obama’s efforts to work with state and local governments to distribute stimulus money. Joe and the boys wanted to make various states and local governments cooperate on their spending to get some big regional projects started. Sadly for Joe, a little thing called the Constitution prevents the federal government from forcing cooperation between states or between states and their own municipalities.
And Joe recognized this fact. Indeed, Joe explained to a friendly crowd at the leftist Brookings Institute that he knew he had no authority to dictate how state governments, counties and municipalities work together to spend the money given under the stimulus. But he then admitted that despite this, he went ahead and “encouraged” the governors, mayors, and others with whom he spoke (on a weekly basis) to work together. Was he doing anything wrong? Well, let’s let Joe explain:
You’re right Joe, you should stop, though it’s a little late. Most juries would call what you just did an admission of guilt. Not only that, you’ve just proven what lawyers call scienter, or knowledge of the wrongness of your act.“I have not bent the law, but I have let imagination take hold in some places where I think it’s consistent with the spirit of the law. . .
Is that the best way of saying that?
Yes. . .
I should stop.”
So not only does Joe have no respect for the law his boss made, or the Constitution, but he brags about it. Nice Joe. . . real nice.

So now I understand how this transparency thing works. You just admit to breaking the law before being accused and it's okay. If you are ACCUSED first, like everything the Bush administration did (or didn't do), that's when it's bad. Cool...
That sounds like that wonderful liberal fable of a living Constitution. BBBBB…Biden… is completely detached from reality, and in his “mind” he believes that that law thingy is other peoples problem, …you know the public, “us.” Career politicians are a danger to the Republic, and “We the People,” need to see to it that they get to experience their lunacy (rules & regulations) first hand. Throw the bums out!
Stan, I think this is the whole "we need to do what we think will work, regardless of the law."
Bev, I you've got part of it. But you forgot to next part, Democrats can't be guilty and Republicans can't be innocent.
Oh my, finally a funny sketch just in time for this week's Bidenism!

Andrew: There's a history of this kind of open and completely mistaken statement in the Democratic Party. Anybody remember John Kerry, turncoat soldier and former Attorney General of Massachusetts who ran for President? He was chiding Republicans for their "slowness" in reacting to "modern needs." He said: "If I am elected, we will interpret the Constitution according to prevailing law." Ass backward, you jerk. You are bound by oath to interpret prevailing law according to the Constitution! And they say we don't get it.
The difference between Biden and Kerry though, is that while Kerry claims that he is following the law, Biden is stupid enough to admit that he knows he's violating the law. And yet, this guy is the Vice President. Stunning.
Andrew: But everybody knows that Biden is so stupid that he might be right about being stupid but wrong about his point, or right about his point but wrong about being stupid, or merely accidentally stupid enough to tell the truth from being too stupid to know the difference. My head hurts.
Mine too.
You know, that's why I started the Bidenisms. Everyone wants to dismiss him as just a fool, so they treat everything he says as harmless. But he's not. In the first three of these, we've seen that he is a pathological liar who knows that what he's doing is wrong, and he brags about it!
I've seen that kind of behavior time and time again in the county jail.
Lucky us in Arizona. Biden is flying into Phoenix tomorrow with suitcases full of taxpayer stimulus cash and a spray-on tan. His mission, should he choose to accept it, is to raise money for two moderate Dems who will hopefully lose their seats in 2010: Harry Mitchell (D-Phx) and Gabrielle Giffords (D-Tucson). Both voted for the health care bill and are currently in the witness protection program, as far as I know.
Looking forward to many Biden gaffes tomorrow.
Writer X, LOL! They probably are deep within the Witness Relocation Program. I can't imagine that they'll survive the 2010 election, even with Biden's suitcase full of cash.
Andrew, I meant to say Ann Kirkpatrick, not Giffords. Kirkpatrick is another moderate dem from rural northern Arizona who is absolutely vulnerable now, given her vote on Health care. Giffords is also very vulnerable too, although her district is not as overwhelmingly conservative as Kirkpatrick's is. Kirkpatrick represents a lot of ranchers, farmers, and hunters. I'd say poor Ann is quite vulnerable.
Writer X, Let's hope they all are! If we could get three seats in Arizona alone, then perhaps there is a very good chance that we would recapture the Congress?!
Mike, Is there a prize? I had no idea there was such a website, but it doesn't surprise me. Biden is comic gold!
Still, I've got a bigger point than just the comedy. I want people to understand who this guy is -- don't buy the "he's just a harmless guy" routine. There is something very wrong with him.
I've got a list of maybe 50 Bidenisms so far (more coming every day). I figure that we'll share one or two a week, and maybe a few Obamaisms too. This is our third entry already.
