Democrats To Blacks: Whites Want Slavery Back

If it’s election time, then it must be time to stoke up a little race hate. Indeed, every election cycle, the Democrats and their fellow travelers stir up black voters (and self-righteous liberal whites) with calls of racism. The election of Barack Obama was supposed to put an end to that, but it didn’t. In fact, it’s only gotten worse. And because of this, as Rasmussen just confirmed, race relationship have turned poisonous since Obama took office.

You would think the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow, the party responsible for the collapse of the inner city and which provided the incentives that destroyed the black family, the party that controls the teachers unions which doom black kids to ignorance and poverty, and the party that protects corruption within the black political power structure, would not be too popular in the black community. But you’d be wrong. Why? Because the Democrats have gotten very good at brainwashing blacks to respond to claims of racism. . . a tactic they use before every election.

The latest offenders are Obama, Paul Krugman, and the Village Voice. Obama, “our first post racial” president, has been running around equating opposition to his policies with a return to slavery. And while this may just sound like intemperate rhetoric, it actually is no such thing. Indeed, this is carefully calibrated code to deliver a single message to blacks: “Republicans oppose me because they’re racists and they don’t want me setting you free.” If you doubt me, just wait.

Paul Krugman followed this up by making wild claims about the Tea Party (and indeed the entire conservative movement) being controlled by a secret cabal of billionaire financiers. At the introduction to his rant, he says the following:

“A note to Tea Party activists: This is not the movie you think it is. You probably imagine that you’re starring in ‘The Birth of a Nation,’ but you’re actually just extras in a remake of ‘Citizen Kane.’”
The mention of Birth of a Nation is no accident on Krugman’s part. For those who don’t know, Birth of a Nation is a pro-Ku Klux Klan propaganda film produced in 1915. Thus, translating what Krugman says here, you get: “you Tea Party people worship the KKK and see yourselves as creating a white supremacist state, but you’re just deluded pawns for rich white billionaires.” The message to blacks: “fear the Tea Party, they see themselves as the reincarnation of the KKK.”

And lest you think I’m reading too much into this, let me remind you that “talking in code” is a constant Democratic theme. Indeed, Democrats use this allegation to gin up claims of racism where they simply can’t find anything to point at. . . again, if you think I’m making that up, then read on. Just as interesting, Democrats speak openly about using certain themes, images and words to target different segments of their supporters without alarming the public at large. In other words, they admit to talking in code, they just don’t call it that unless they are smearing an opponent.

But the examples above are much less direct than other examples we can find. Let us consider, for example, an article in the Village Voice entitled “White America Has Lost It’s Mind.” This article claims that the sole reason whites don’t like Obama is racism. And this racist little article goes on in unusual candor about the kinds of things Democratic politicians typically only hint at in their codes. Observe the following direct quotes (sorry in advance about the language):
• About 12:01 on the afternoon of January 20, 2009, the white American mind began to unravel. . . for the first time, a non-white president accepted the oath of office—white America rapidly began to lose its grip.

• References to chicken, particularly of the fried variety, have long served as a kind of code when white folks referred to black people.

• Who didn't chuckle, after all, the first time they heard that white people had doubts that Barack Obama had even been born in the United States . . . But the more you shook your head at it, the more it seemed to have taken root deep in the lizard part of the white nervous system. Obama is not an American. He says he's Christian, but he has a Muslim-sounding name. He's not black, he's not white. . . . Is . . . is he even human?

• Had decades of sucking down so much high-fructose corn syrup not only made Americans incredibly obese, but also messed with white brain chemistry to the point that some sort of tipping point had occurred?

• For the first time in their lives, baby boomers are hard up against it economically, and white boy is becoming outnumbered and it's got his bowels chilled with fear. . . . That's a polite and understated way of saying that older white folks are losing their shit as they're being replaced by young brown and black kids.

• Now, some black folks can be forgiven for thinking, as they watched the political drama in Washington unfold over the past two years, that this was just another form of the same old thing they'd put up with in one way or another in this conflicted multiracial country. But there is another explanation. White people have simply gone sheer fucking insane.

• [Whites are upset at ACORN] because of who they organized, they became public enemy No. 1 in the eyes of certain people not so thrilled with black folks registering to vote in large numbers.

• We've had rat-fuckers like Breitbart and O'Keefe around forever . . . What's different this time, however, is just how easily the lies and distortions of the rat-fuckers are being soaked up by the damaged crania of this country's drooling white masses.

• Suddenly, it was open season on brown-skinned fruit pickers and seamstresses.

• Back East, meanwhile, we have our own brown-skinned devil: the Muslim.

• Other angry (and obviously very confused) white people began organizing their own "tea parties" and, from the start, had to defend themselves from charges that there was more than a little racial component to their movement.

• Can the white mind be cured? And what—other than a massive lobotomy—can salvage it? . . . If there is a cure, it likely won't come from Barack Obama. . . if Obama ever referred to being the "master" of anything, he'd scare white people more than he already does.

• The graying boomers will hate to pay for the education, health, and welfare of the coming browns. They'll be stingy about it. They'll scream about it. But they'll have no choice but to do it.
There you have it. Every single thing that happened during the last two years is because whites are racist and hate blacks. Is any of this fantasy legitimate? Hardly. And the professional left knows this. They are playing the racism card to stoke anger in the black community and excite self-righteous, liberal whites because they have been trained like Pavlov’s dogs to rush out to support the Democrats whenever they hear these claims.

It’s too bad that the left is willing to keep the black community strung out on hatred just to get their votes, but it ultimately won’t help them. The more they say these things, the more they turn off anyone who isn’t part of their zombie flock. Indeed, Obama’s popularity among blacks remains at 91%, but has fallen to 36% among whites. Thus, by continuing to stoke race hatred in the black community, all they’ve achieved is making themselves untenable to the rest of the public.

But then, the left can’t help themselves anymore. Exploiting blacks and stoking hatred has become second nature to them.

my relationships with my nonwhite friends (i include all colors of the rainbow here) are just fine. it's the radical left's wish that they not be, but golly gee, somehow they keep forgetting we have a brain....that we use! as lefties keep bringing their insanity to the table, in bigger and bigger portions as november draws closer, it simply serves to make me feel for those who obviously need medication and refuse to take it.

what will they stoop to next? stay tuned! we have 26 more days to find out...

Andrew,

I noticed that the messages predominately focus on how brain damaged white people are. Could it be that Michael Savage is right? That liberalism is a brain disorder and they are projecting their problems onto others?

I had heard of some of these, but really, who buys this?

BTW good article. :-)

Of course everything they write about us it true. It must be because it appears as words in sentences on pages in print. But what I keep reiterating to them is -

A. We are not going away because you call us names. And FYI calling us names is like beating on a hornets nest. It just makes us more active.

B. Do you really expect to win our votes by calling us names?

Fortunately they do not listen to me.

But that being said, I just have one question. Where do I send my receipts for my Tea Party activities? My understanding is that a secret cabal of fascist billionaires is bankrolling us (and apparently the entire conservative movement) and, well you know, it’s very expensive being a bigoted, homophobic racist (and the worst of all!) middle-aged/geriatric crackpot! I mean, the cost of dry-cleaning my hood and white sheets alone is a real drain.

Wow... just wow...

The funny thing is, the more they do it now, the less it matters. It's gone way beyond the boy who cried wolf. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a racist homophobe hate-mongering whatever-ist. Sure, whatever, now let me get back to what I was doing taking the country back while you whine and snivel.

Oh, and Bev, you mean you haven't been getting your checks? I'll send you an e-mail with addy for the "Whites Billionaires R Us" refund department. ;)~

Patti, In general, I agree with you about most people in the country. But in the big cities, where you get large enclaves of different races, it really has become poisonous. In DC for example, you constantly hear things about whites keeping blacks down, and you hear how particular candidates "aren't black enough."

They've bought in fully this mindset of us v. them.

AndrewPrice said...

Joel, I see this entire issue as projection. Most of the liberals I know tell racist jokes, divide the world by race, and assume that all blacks are on welfare (and that whites aren't). But they think these aren't racist ideas because they're liberals and they can't be racists.

At the same time, they project these belief onto conservatives and add an evil motive, even though they have no evidence to believe it. In fact, half the time the liberals I know talk about these things they are sayings like "you just know that (insert conservative) really hates blacks became he thinks...." and then they describe their own beliefs. Yet, then never grasp what they are doing.

I would honestly say that liberalism is the result of a collection of mental disorders that hamper their ability to see the world around them honestly.

The race card is THE default position for liberal Democrats in their attempts to control the so called "black" vote. That there is some truth to the fact there is a "black" voting block at all is a sad testimony in itself, but that is a separate issue. Like most big lies, there is just enough truth to usually make it stick. The "solid south" is now Republican, and aren't these the ancestors of the slave holders? Isn't this the party of the cracker? And since the days of LBJ, Democrats always talk the talk when it comes to providing goodies.

But the reality is they seldom deliver. And, as more blacks have risen to middle class status or above, they have begun to see this inconsistency. Sowell, Wats, Cosby, etc. help to point this truth out despite being tarred as "Uncle Tom's.

We should not be surprised this time honored tactic has been doubled down in the era of the first black president (or second depending on who is counting.) It is just so easy for blacks to believe the "man" is conspiring to make a failure of the "brother." I have come to believe the Obamas probably have some seriously racist bones in their bodies. Post racial president in deed!

The Village Voice, on the other hand, really has some lunars don't they. Did anybody own up to actually writing that shit? And our friend Paul Krugman . . . there is a great article on him in the National Review that just came out.

Anyway, nice article. The comments about the irony of Dems talking in "code" is spot on. To uGene Robinson, Danny Glover, and Harry Belafonte, take your "code" and shove it up, your asking me buddy to take the old race card lying down once more and it just ain't gonna happen this time. ;-D

bev, "the cost of dry-cleaning my hood and white sheets alone is a real drain." -- LOL!

I know what you mean, I never seem to get my receipts reimbursed either! We need a new set of evil overlords!

Seriously, you make a great point that calling us names is not going to win us over or change our minds or make us go away. And in truth, I don't think it's aimed at us. I think they are trying to excite their base and to keep uniformed moderates who may be tempted by our side from ever join us by telling them that we're a bunch of monsters.

Also, I think this helps them psychologically handle the contradictions in their beliefs and gives them comfort that they are the good guys even when a lot of their philosophy is based on hate, bigotry, dividing people and theft.

AndrewPrice said...

Crispy, I think that's also very true. The more someone tosses around these words, especially in an unjustified and insane way, the less meaning they have. And they've been throwing words like "racism" around for everything that comes up for so long now that the word has lost all meaning.

In fact, it's become so generic a charge that I now expect to hear the charge tossed at every conservative in every political race and at every conservative thinker on a regular basis, and I wonder when I don't hear it.

I guess the Democrats never read "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?

AndrewPrice said...

Jed, Great comment -- I agree completely!

I think it is troubling that there is a "black vote." Until that changes, there will continue to be race problems in this country. I think it's obvious that the vast majority of whites have moved beyond race, but most blacks haven't. And as long as they see thing in terms of race, they will be subject to this kind of manipulation. And their leaders know it, that's why all those corrupt Congressional Black Caucus types yelled racism when they got caught breaking the law.

I have a lot of respect for the Sowells, the Williamses, and the Cosbys. It is not ease to stand up to this kind of group think and they are doing it. And I like to think they are having an effect. If there is evidence of this, it's in the number of blacks who have turned out to Tea Party rallies -- something that gives me hope about the future of race relations.

As for their being evidence to support their claims, sure there is -- in a country of 300 million people, you can always find some people to confirm your views, no matter how twisted. Add in the faulty history they preach and you have enough evidence to point to that a willing audience will be swayed.

I haven't seen the article on Krugman, but I have no respect for that fool. I would trust my dog on economics before I trust Krugman.

I also agree with you about Obama being deeply racist. I think the signs were there in his wife's thesis, and this issue has risen to the surface repeatedly during his term. And I don't think people are responding well to that. That's the point these leftists are missing. . . the public doesn't hate him because of his race, they have come to hate him because of his racism.

LawHawkRFD said...

Andrew: That weasel Krugman has been doing his shifty-eyed "analyses" for so long that he doesn't even bother trying to back his theories with facts. For instance, he neglected to point out that the addled Progressive favorite of the left, Woodrow Wilson, thought that Birth of a Nation was the greatest movie of all time, and had special screenings of it in the White House. Just another Democrat who loved the "white" in "White House."

I didn't put myself on the line in the Civil Rights battles of the 60s to have some pampered punk from Hawaii tell me that I'm a racist for hating his color. I do hate his color. His color is red.

AndrewPrice said...

Lawhawk, The left loves to get fuzzy whenever it comes to history because their side has been responsible for every great atrocity in history. So rather than admit they were wrong, they try to shift their crimes onto others and then attack those others for their own crimes.

It's a lot like the projection issue discussed above.

Pittsburgh Enigma said...

Wow, another racist accusation article from the left. What a surprise! I used to get upset when people like Paul Krugman, Janeane Garafalo, etc. lashed out at the Tea Party, or just white people in genereal, for being racist or even insane. Now it's just laughable. And it is exactly these kind of people who see this country as "us" and "them".

DUQ said...

Another article that has me ripping my already-thinning hair out. Thanks, Andrew!

AndrewPrice said...

Pitts, I couldn't agree more. It's getting very hard to be upset by this because it's become impossible to take this seriously. Instead, it's become a sort of inside joke. . . "oh look, another liberal calling us racist."

Unfortunately, as you note, they do see the world as us versus them, and they are trying hard to separate people so they can maintain their power base. They know that the only thing that supports them these days is to keep minorities living in angry little enclaves so they don't drift away and vote the way their real interests lie. It's despicable. It's also the reason that American has not moved beyond race -- because it doesn't suit their interests.

Maybe someday they will actually get a leader who decides it's time to stop hating. . . but I'm not holding my breath.

AndrewPrice said...

DUQ, Sorry to hear that! But don't worry, this stuff doesn't play anymore, and the people who buy into it aren't the kind who are rational anyways.

Pittsburgh Enigma said...

Andrew: you're right about the angry little enclaves. I listen to Hannity's radio show sometimes, and he gets occasional black callers who start out their calls with "you people..." Hannity immediately challenges them on what they mean by "you people". What do they mean exactly? Aren't we all *Americans*? Most of the time, they don't even realize that they're living in these angry little enclaves. It's sad really.

AndrewPrice said...

Pitts, Racism and tribalism is rampant in the black community. They've been sold a bill of goods that tells them that the only way they can succeed is if they stick together because the rest of us are separated by race and we're out to get them.

It's a very easy mindset to adopt when your leaders (from political to religious) are spreading this belief 24/7. And it's made all the worse when you're told that when you do it, it's not racism, but when everyone else does it, it is.

That's how victimology works though, it makes you part of a bigger group, and it justifies anything you do on behalf of that group and it makes anything done to your group into an outrage.

It's the same mindset that has kept the human race at war since day 1.

If you listen, the left tells all. They have been calling Tea Party’s racist since their inception. They are scared out of their Birkenstocks, that the con is up. This was not in their diabolical calculations that the people that actually pay the freight might get a bit upset and take to the streets…oh well.

The funny thing, I was at a Tea Party (clan) Rally, and when we removed our sheets the man who was the master of ceremony, heaven forbid was black, black as the ace of spades. I knew there was something funny about this brilliant man the way he talked, you just don’t know these things until the sheets come off, and we can’t have that, now he’s stupid, liberal narrative. The black man was Herman Cain, former CEO of Godfathers Pizza, many corporate boards, self made, hard core conservative, and I love this guy. He is the antithesis of Barry, not because of his color, but because of his unabashed love of America, and everything that she stands for. He recites from the Founding Documents, verbatim, no teleprompter. What’s a racist to do?

Paul Krugman has been a useless leftist twit for decades. Hey Paul, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words shall never harm me.” These are invaluable parable’s of life that our mommies taught us. But, I know you were hatched.

AndrewPrice said...

Stan, Great story!

I've heard of a lot of blacks in the Tea Party, and they're there for the very reasons you say -- they love the country and they don't like what's happening to it. But somehow the left won't see that because it doesn't fit with the narrative that people need to separate by race, that the races can't get along, and that all blacks think alike.

None of these things are true and I think that the vast majority of the public is done with the people who keep promoting these lies.

Indeed, millions of average people went to the Tea Party rallies and saw what was going on and then went home to see themselves declared "racists," and in that moment they learned that they can no longer trust another thing the left says.

P.S. I used to love Godfather's Pizza, but they left this area a long time ago.

BevfromNYC said...

StanH: Where do you get your sheets and hoods from? Are they supplied by your Tea Party group or do you have to supply them yourself? Oh, and btw it's "klan", not "clan". Geez...you must be in one of those TP groups that can spell. They are rare, you know.

AndrewPrice said...

Bev, LOL! :-)

StanH said...

Silly me Bev, I’m Southern, I guess I was thinking, my clan? Please don’t tell anyone! : )

Being Southern, when we are born, we are fitted with our first set of sheets & hood, kind of like a christening gown, but different. Throughout our lives, we get a new set fitted for those special occasions, don’t you know. However Atlanta has many transplants, if you show up unprepared the Tea Party takes care of the sheets, shoes are optional.

Individualist said...

You know we need to respond with a little snark and a lot history to these accusations.

So and So liberal yahoo says Tea Partiers think they are in "Birth of a Nation".

Hmmm every Tea Party Group, every one of them needs to send letters of outrage stating that they are offended at this attempt to portray them as Progressives. We Tea Partiers know darn well that the Birth of the NAtion movie was made for Woodrow Wilson the father of the leftist Progressive movement and we vehemently deny that we have anything to do with Woodrow Wilson's fascist policies or the democratic party. These letters should be sent to every media outlet and we shoud then have Conservative congressman talk about this point on any show that they go on.

If the left brings up racism or the clan (klan) we simply state, Racism is evil and the Klan should not exist but more important is the attempt to link the Tea Party to the Progressive ideology that Barack Obama shares which is currently bankrupting our nation. They yell we yell louder completely dismissing race as anything other than another blackeye on the demacratic party that is the father of these ideas.

But we make the mantra Woodrow Wilson is a Racist, a Klansmen and the father of Progressivism and demand progressives apologize for it.

AndrewPrice said...

Stan, "Shoes are optional" -- LOL!

I think it really shows how weak the racism argument has become that people can joke around about it now. I think people would have been very upset and you and Bev 10 years ago for "possibly offending someone." Maybe we are returning to a world of sanity where we no longer let the hypersensitive dictate how the rest of us must behave!

AndrewPrice said...

Individualist, I really like that idea! First, it's historically accurate. Secondly, it really does turn the tables on them by pointing out that they are trying to tar conservatives with the crimes of progressives... the same progressives who now claim to hold the moral high ground. Of course, they always claim to hold the moral high ground, no matter what crimes against humanity they were committing.

I also like the idea of conservatives learning to put up a unified fight against these kinds of slanders. I think we're finally getting better at that -- now that we've taken the responsibility away from the establishment. In the past, you know the first thing that would have happened would have been some RINO running out and apologizing for the racism. Then some weak-kneed conservatives would say that they didn't see any racism, but they still condemn "any conservatives who believe in these horrible ideas." (basically conceding the point). Or they would have said, "I condemn the few racists who did this and disgraced the rest of us." Then it would have taken someone like Rush to stand up and finally say "this is crap, there was no racism."

These days, the public has taken it upon themselves to call out the left for making false claims of racism.

Ed said...

I agree with you guys that this is a joke, but it still pisses me off that they can say these lies without any punishment. We should be allowed to sue people like this Village Voice idiot for slander.

AndrewPrice said...

Ed, Sadly, that would be very hard to prove, but it's something that people should start keeping in mind. The left uses the legal system to try to shut down people they don't agree with, we should do that same.
