The Points...

I want to clarify the points I am trying to make in the last article because I don't want them to be lost in the details. What you should take out of the last article about Barbie is the following:
(1) Feminists know they must hide their beliefs from the public, because the public does not accept them. Basically, they have to trick people into being exposed to their views. This also means the public is not lost to them.

(2) Feminists lie to promote their propaganda, including lying about it being political and lying about its success (or lack there of), and their fellow travelers in the media do the lying for them.

(3) Feminism, at its core, is anti-woman. Feminism denigrates women and all things feminine that do not conform to their singular view of acceptable womanhood.

(4) Feminists use things like this movie to claim a mandate for societal change. The battle for the future is being fought here, not on Capital Hill.
I could give you more, but those are the vital points.

Jed - I followed them fine and they are good points. I find it interesting how certain political activists have co-opted movements that actually have value. For example, the concept of feminism is, in theory, a good one. Where the activists go awry is that not every woman needs to have a career. But like most people in liberalism, there can be no room for disagreement. And when they believe there own bullshit, then canceling, destroying opposition is all that matters. Just like the politicians who claim people who don’t buy in are a threat to democracy. I must admit, they are good at it, at least the nechanics of hiding the message and lying about the results

Jed, I just wanted to be clear in case I wasn't (the article was rather long). I wasn't singling anyone out. I apologize if that's how it seemed. Wasn't my intent at all. I thought all the comments were good.

I agree with you completely above. Most of these movements have value... or should have value. In fact, most should be relatively without controversy. Equal rights under the law is the best thing for society and morally right, for example. A clean environment is vital to us all. Even labor unions can be important in preventing abuses and keeping society in balance.

But once the activists sink their hooks into these things, they go absolutely nuts and the ideology they impose becomes dangerous or destructive or intolerable and it leads to the discrediting of things that should be accepted by all.

Look at feminism, for example, which goes from equal rights to demanding oppressive special powers and then stifles differences or dissenters. Or environmentalism, which has gone from protection of the environment for the benefit of humanity to removal of humanity from the environment.
