Question

Hi everybody! Thanks for all your kind wishes and emails and the such. I appreciate them very much and I really do hope to be back at the blog soon. In the meantime, let me ask a question.

What the heck is Hillary doing? Wow.

1. She is casting blame at dozens of people who are so far out of the news cycle as to be forgotten. It's like old timer's day. "I remember when..."

2. She chose the day of the hurricane and the NFL opening day to launch her attack on Trump. Talk about drowning yourself in a wave of distraction. "Seriously, stop looking at the monster wave and listen to me!"

3. Her attacks have been pathetic. They've been along the line of "Here's what I would have said if I'd thought about it at the time." Pathetic.

4. And why announce that she's not ever going to be a candidate again and then put out this book? Is she relevant or not?

5. Finally, why attack the Electoral College today? That sounds like delayed, confused sour grapes. Too little... too late... too yesterday.

This has really been surreal to watch. Thoughts?

It's ugly and funny and fascinating all at the same time. The ego, the rage, the hubristic (?) bitterness, it's wonderful to watch. Most politicians are simply too smart to implode this way. I truly hate the vile thing, but I can't decide whether or not to buy her book. I don't want to add to the sales numbers or give her any money but... do you remember the scene in The Patriot where they've just captured Cornwallis' supply wagons? The wagons contained one of his diaries. Mel Gibson reads it and says "I've just been inside the mind of a genius." Well this is like "I've just been inside the mind of a narcissist." She possesses a truly amazing ego that blinds her to everything about herself that turns people off. Fascinating and abhorrent all at once. What I'm waiting for now is the next phase when all the sycophants turn on her. Popcorn time, baby! She's doing a book signing tour. I wonder where that guy is that spit on Jane Fonda A few years back? Do whatever you have to do to take care of your leg.

I think it's a glimpse as to what President Hillary Clinton would've been like. She'd have brought all the conceit, petulance, confusion, reaction, and poor timing that President Trump is accused of. The only difference is, she'd have had a media to run cover for her.

HEY ANDREW!!!! Hope you're feeling a little bit better!

This ought to amuse all of you. This website was launched by Peter Daou in conjunction with her book launch - Verrit.com - Media For The 65.8 Million...

Andrew, glad to hear you've been doing better!

I honestly wonder if Hillary knows (or thinks she knows) what she's doing at this point. You'd think any competent politician would...but this is the person who didn't even prepare a concession speech...because she was sure she would win...and has openly admitted that.

Bev, that was a hoot. You'd think it'd be kinda hard for the majority of voters to be "marginalized!"

Seeing Hillary's latest self inflicted wounds Trump decided to retweet a gif of himself knocking down Hillary with a golf ball. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

If ya'll remember, after AlGore lost she said she would introduce legislation to end the Electoral College...of course, it would take an amendment to the Constitution to end it..but I seriously doubt that she really understands the Constitution..most liberal don't.

So Hillary is thinking about contesting the 2016 election. Her sheer idiocy is astounding.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/18/politics/hillary-clinton-2016-trump/index.html

But in an interview Monday with NPR's Terry Gross, Clinton raised that critique up a notch -- not only questioning the legitimacy of Trump's presidency but refusing to rule out the possibility of contesting the results if Russian collusion is proven by special counsel Bob Mueller.
