Thoughts On Chauvin

Hi everybody. I'm planning to start writing again next week. So watch for that. In the meantime, here are my thoughts on Chauvin.

(1) It is sad to see two lives destroyed.

(2) This was murder, so Chauvin got what he deserved. There is no injustice in this on his end. He had an eternity to decide not to kill this man and he didn't.

(3) I feel truly sad for Floyd because this was so avoidable. It makes me sick.

(4) That said, all the rest is bullsh*t. If you think this is going to calm anything, then you will be sadly mistaken. This is being exploited as a pretext for a leftist powerplay akin to when Hitler and the Nazis lionized the handful of Nazis shot in the putsch to make themselves seem like heroic victims. I'm sorry, but cops are not hunting black people and racism isn't the reason the black community is so badly off, and it's going to get worse for blacks because leftist politicians and race exploiters will use this to maintain the hate and fear which keep the black community destroying itself.

(5) I keep seeing t-shirts that say "say their names." I dare you. Go ahead. You're going to find it to be a very short list, a list that is so short it puts the lie to all the black-left propaganda. Also, let me point out that this conviction similarly puts the lie to the idea that the courts protect rogue cops.

(6) It's funny this always happens in liberal communities. Coincidence? Hardly.

(7) Good times for white liberals tonight. They can now bask in the glory of false confession by shedding crocodile tears and proclaiming collective racist guilt before going back to telling their racist jokes and keeping their POCs at ghetto length.

(8) I also condemn all the "people" who stood there filming this rather than saving Floyd's life. You could have saved this man, but you did nothing. How does that feel? How do you live with yourselves?

(9) I wonder how long before we'll start to see commercials and collectibles exploiting Floyd's image by BIG business virtue signalling?

Thoughts?

No time to respond in any depth, but in short, I agree with you. And it's good to see you back!

Hi Stacy! It's nice to be back. It's been a rough time medically.

Glad to finally hear from you, Andrew. I was getting a bit worried and almost went to e-mail you when I saw this. Yeah, this is going to get even uglier, and everything the left's been up to since January's at Lovecraftian abomination levels of ugly as it is. It's been hard to keep going to be honest.

The left is in all out "destroy the world" mode right now, but it will ultimately prove futile. Their assumptions just aren't valid and their support is tepid, outside of corporate America and the news machine.

Not that they won’t get their momentum back, but it looks like the Left spoiled their own moment by knee-jerk reacting to the Ma’Khia Bryant episode. There’s a collective indecision from that side on whether to flip-flop or double-down.

Hey Andrew, I'm happy to see your back and posting again. I was worried about you; not too long ago I went through a similar skin condition and was placed on accutane to cure it... It was rough!

Anyway, hope your getting better by the day!

I usually stay out of partisan politics but I have to say its been ridiculous as of late. Absolute polarization with no nuance. Combine that with woke Commercials/Television & Sports... I mean it's hard to just ignore the blatant partisan push. It sucks.

Anyway I hope you find the time to post over on your film blog again... That's how I found you in the first place. I'm personally a libertarian but I like hearing views from both sides of the isles when it comes to films. You would have a field day with some of the woke crap that's been put out by Hollywood recently lol. However there have been some genuinely decent smaller scale films over the last few years that are worth some praise.

All the best, Kyle.

Hi Eric, Thanks! I'm glad to be back!

tryanmax, I think their momentum is an illusion in the first place, but incidents like this do rob them of more momentum. I'll talk about their "success" next week.

Hi Kyle, They put me on acitretin at first, which was making everything so much worse. It was causing these outbursts under my skin and breaking apart my nails and lips. I couldn't even touch my fingers. Between that and the underlying condition, I was pretty sure I was going to die. Ironically though, it probably saved my life because they found a massive blood clot in my lungs and cured it.

Anyways, we finally switched to something called Talz ($8k a shot), which is slowly working. It's stopped the insane pain and stopped the skin from falling off. The discoloration is slowly going away too. It's been kind of a miracle. So, I'm very happy to be back! Thank you for your kind wishes! I'm sorry to hear you went through something similar!

The partisan push right now is terrible and disgusting. I've never seen anything like it in my life.

I will definitely try to get back to films as well.

Cheers,
