Summer Update

Howdy everyone! I want to give you an update on what to expect this summer. Some of you know that I'm working through a medical issue that has caused me tremendous problems over the last few months. This will continue for a while and may result in some hospitalization. I'm not sure yet, but I definitely need some surgery. So I can't promise that I will get articles done every day as scheduled. I will do my best however.

At the film site, I'm doing "The Summer of Films," which will be nothing but reviews all summer of new and old films. At the main site, I'll do what I can in what promises to be a slow news summer... maybe we'll do conspiracy summer. ;D Anyway, there it is. Thanks for reading! :D

I won't quit praying for ya, Andrew. You hang in there! I hope they are giving you something good for pain.

Thanks Ben. I'm actually trying to resist the pain pills as much as I can because they wipe me out.

I hear ya, Andrew. Pain can drain a lot of energy and it's difficult to balance that with the effects of the pain pills.

AndrewPrice said...

yeah, it's unpleasant

Sorry about that. Somehow an earlier comment I made somewhere else got pasted in my last comment so I deleted it.
Andrew, the number one priority is you getting well. We will be waitin' for ya.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Andrew. Hope you have a speedy recovery as well!

Please get better soon, Andrew.

I hear you on those pain pills. Went through a rough surgical patch a few years back and had problems with the pain killers. Percocet actually screwed up my comprehension and judgment, so I often took the pain instead. Hydrocodone, on the other hand, nearly addicted me. I still far too fondly remember the warm feeling of exhilaration it gave me.

You're wise to be cautious. Keep you in our prayers.

Yes, please get better soon! It's no fun without you in being 100% government* standard** health.

*equal to 89.625% in private sector standard health
** varies +/-10% points in an election year

Get well, take care of yourself...

No problem Ben. :)

Thanks TJ! Thanks Critch! Thanks Writer X!

I really appreciate all of your good wishes! :)

AndrewPrice said...

Thanks Bev! I too hope to be 89.625% healthy soon! :D

Thanks KRS! Yeah, I get those same things. One hydrocodone pill isn't enough, but two gives me a high feeling and then puts me to sleep. I had some other stuff that worked, but I can't take it with some of the other medication I'm taking. So I'm just trying to be cautious and only take the pills when absolutely necessary.

You don't need surgery. Just rest, juice and some special herbs. I know a guy...

Hope you get better soon.

Like everyone else, my prayers are going out to you, Andrew. Get well soon; if it'll make you feel better, I'll box up a bunch of Zooey Deschannel films and mail them to you to watch. :-)

Andrew,

Best of luck to ya. I hope you get better soon.

BevfromNYC said...

T-Rav...the threat of having to watch Zooey Deschanel films might just help Andrew recover faster! Add in a few seasons of "New Girl", just to make sure.

AndrewPrice said...

Thanks Koshcat! Special herbs? You mean like those Dr. Oz pimps? I should try that. LOL!

AndrewPrice said...

Thanks T-Rav... I think. Video of Zooey D. would certainly get me out of the house quicker! LOL! :)

Thanks Kit!
