He's... RACIST LOL!

The left is horrified that Trump allegedly called various shithole countries "shithole countries." Truth hurts.

See when your country is rife with crime, rebels and functions on the basis of corruption... when part of your population kills little girls because they go to school or mutilates their genitals because "God" told you so... when your leaders have brought the country to near-absolute bankruptcy, your population has no work ethic, the biggest employer is narco gangs, and average people need to use fake cell phones, walls covered in broken glass and hired guns to avoid becoming victims of criminals... your country might be a shithole.

But that's not the point. The point is the cry racism motif.

See, all these idiots from Anderson "Weepy Boy" Cooper to the UN are whining that Trump saying this is racism... and I don't care. In fact, I doubt anyone really cares. Why? Because this is what happens when you cry wolf. Not a day doesn't pass that some idiot doesn't scream racism. Everything is racist... everything. Heck, we even hear that the very fact of being white makes you racist, as do words that have nothing to do with race like picnic and blackhole, being conservative is racist, history is racist, arresting black criminals is racist, standardized testing is racist, the quality of education by black teachers is racist, black cops are racist, white cops are racist, not being paid $15 an hour at the job you don't have is racist, connecting Islamic terrorism to Islam is racist, pollution is racist, highways are racist, enforcing laws is racist, not believing in a phantom troop of cops killing young black men is racist, the language itself is racist, not enough black women being raped in Hollywood was racist, and so on. Everything is racist. So who cares?

Racism is a dead charge. Oh, it may excite the losers who use it to explain away their failures and it may excite the leftists who use it to keep those losers in line, but no one else cares. And I can't see the public caring about Trump calling these shithole countries shitholes... especially now that the UN has condemned this as "racist." Let's not forget that the UN is a collection of shithole countries who have waged a decades long war against Jews, who protect mass murderers and look the other way as they use illegal weapons like nerve gas against their minorities. Talk about racist. So yeah, no. Shove your racism allegations.

By the way, not having body cams on cops was racist until it didn't confirm the myth about cops killing innocent blacks. Now having those cameras is racist. Idiots.

I never knew that calling a shithole country a shithole country was wrong until the media recently drew my attention to it. Now I will call them cesspit countries and perhaps people will feel better about it.

AND remember that Rep. Nancy Pelosi suggesting that five white men working to draft a law is inherently bad - isn't the least bit racist.

LL, Cesspit countries sounds a little too organized for most of these places, but if we must we must. LOL!

Oh, didn't you know? You can't be racist to whites no matter how racist you are.

What I don't understand is why anyone would want to come to our racist shithole? Wouldn't they be better off in the idyllic non-racist shitholes where they already reside?

The comment was a strange one for an ordinary president to make but perfectly in keeping for talk radio Obama.

Won't do him any harm among his fan base. Quite the opposite. The DACA talks and some of his other comments ('love') pissed some of them off but shithole will cause all to be forgiven.

I was more amused by Trump's Fox and Friends fueled denunciation of FISA. The speed with which he retracted it, urging lawmakers to support FISA, means he has a trusted adult suoervisor. Wonder who it is?

tryanmax, Good question, isn't it? Perhaps we're not as bad as our elites like to claim and those other countries are more shithole than you might expect?

AndrewPrice said...

Anthony, I don't think it will do him any harm period. The people who already hate him will gnash their teeth and cry unto their God, "Why do you allow this, my Lord?!" But everyone else will say, "Why can't you call a shithole a shithole?"

Of course, what is egregiously side-lined/misleading in the "s**thole" debacle is that it was said (if it was said at all. Though...Trump, so...) in a closed door meeting. It was not said at a press conference, in a hallway, or any other
semi-public gathering. I would imagine that pretty much all of our politicians say un-PC things in private, closed-door meetings.

Bev, The same leftists who are horrified that Trump might use such language were giggling like tranny school girls a couple day ago about the f-word arguments that went on in closed door meeting with Team Obama.

Like everything the left whines about, they are being disingenuous hypocrites.

So it turns out that Lyndsey Graham started this one by telling the media that Trump said it. He defines disloyalty. There is no Republican he won't try to destroy. He is the senate version of the concern troll.

Andrew,

As with Obama diarrhea of the mouth is unlikely to cost the president re-election (it thrills the fringe) but such attacks shift votes at the margins and thus has electoral consequences.

I've been to a lot of those s*%$hole countries,,,he's right, they are. Hey Libs, he's pretty much expressing what 90% of the people really think. if any immigrants from these countries are offended, well they can just goo back to those little pieces of Paradise they left. I dislike those RINOs as much as I dislike Libs.

A: Trump 2020- The candidate who isn't afraid to call a shithole a shithole. I love it.
B: We just had a situation like this at work. A lieutenant with a long history of conflicts with other people was holding roll call in district four, which is a district in the ghetto. Extremely high crime, both major crimes and quality of life crimes, this district always leads the city in shootings, you get the idea. As this person was holding roll call two officers came over the radio saying that they weren't sure but they thought they'd been shot at.They had heard shots, the shots were very close and they thought that they were the targets. (This was third shift so it was dark) She held rollcall for 28 more minutes. When she was called on this the next night she went off on her relief, berating them, cursing etc. Since we live in the cell phone era several people caught her tirade on their phones. The union president came out to talk to the troops and one of the things he said was "It's bad enough you have to work in the urban ghetto, you don't have to be treated like that." This was a union president talking to a group of cops in a roll call. Somebody leaked it to the media and the fact that he used the phrase "urban ghetto" to describe a crime ridden urban district caused a firestorm in the local press and on Facebook.

Keith Jackson has died. Loved his voice. Loved his style. RIP

GypsyTyger, Honestly, I don't think it matters what you call it. The mere fact of identifying it is enough to be called racist.

Evidence Trump is eroding support with his tongue. I think like Obama this will still translate to re-election but it will shift the nature of his backers and maybe reduce their absolute numbers.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/01/13/evangelical-rift-intensifies-over-trump-immigration-remarks.html

Donald Trump's vulgar remarks questioning why the U.S. should admit immigrants from Haiti and Africa have spotlighted the bitter divide among American evangelicals about his presidency.

-----

Trump won 80 percent of the white evangelical vote in the 2016 election. But recent polls show some weakening in that support, with 61 percent approving of his job performance, compared with 78 percent last February, according to the Pew Research Center.
