Equality or Segregation?

Is it just me, or are many of the demands that our many college students are demanding, besides demolishing the 1st Amendment and an apology for all of human history so far, really just boil down to a deman of segregation?
As I schlog through the various and sundry "demands" for safe spaces and equality for "minority students" and the endless repetitious demands of new fields of fill-in-the blank "studies" degrees [race, gender, sexual orientation etc.] only being taught by same, all I can come up with as to what they really want is the reinstitution of segregation by gender, race, and whatever. And with the extra added bonus that all white men should just shut up.

They say their demands are for diversity, but I don't see that in their protests. It is never so apparent that when they are protesting against the "All Lives Matters" crowd. I keep coming out with an underlying theme of "Please segregate us."

Here is a link to an aggregate site that has compiled the demands from our institutions of "higher learning" - LINK

I am sure I am not processing this correctly, but let's discuss.

Bev.....Appears that they want what they think white people have had in this country - privileged status. They think white people have things handed to them without working hard for it...get good grades because they're white...aren't held accountable for anything due to their race...and have money handed to them just because. They've been led to believe that race is the dominant factor for success in this society, therefore, they want some of that "white privilege."

We have no idea where they would have got that notion now do we?

Bev, When the protesters keep demanding X only spaces, I can't conclude other than what you have. I don't know what they plan to do with said spaces, but I imagine it is whatever they assume white men do when there are no minorities or women around. Little do they know that we mainly just laugh at our own farts.

Bob - It is so frustrating to live in a world where it is always someone else's fault that they did not get to [fill in the blank] because someone else kept them down so they could not [fill in the blank with things like bother to learn to read, write, perform a skill, learn a skill etc.]. One irony is that all of the #BlackLivesMatter swilling "WHITES HAVE KEPT US OUT OF COLLEGE" swillers...are actually in college. And not just any college, but Ivy League colleges.

Tryanmax - Yeah, I wonder what they are going to do in those safe spaces. Maybe there will be kittens and puppies for them the play with and soft bankies to wub. Or maybe tables and chairs with books all around for quiet study time. Back in the day, we called them "liberries".

Oh, don't tell anyone, but...you know when women go to the bathroom together in restaurants? Hey, that's where we have our super secret meetings to discuss...oops, I have said too much.

We could always ship the little malcontents to Palestine so they could experience what a safe space is supposed to look like.

Democrats, Balkanizing the US of A, formerly known as the greatest melting pot in history, one campus at a time.

So, the Yale professor who had the unmitigated gall to actually send an email telling everyone to lighten up about Halloween costumes has stated that the students win and she will not be coming back in the Spring.

On a positive note - All the college presidents, boards of directors, administrators and professors who have been forced to resign have a pretty good shot at starting their own Ivy League University if anyone wanted to invest! I hear that the Obama Admin loves to give out free money to college students...

I ran into a few nutjobs like the people described back when I was a college student. In my experience in the 1990s they were a minority within a minority. They were often in leadership positions but widely ignored (their calls for various rallies were ignored). Sounds like that has changed. I am amazed their parents are rolling with it. Those guys are pissing away their future agitating over silliness.
