Here's a little leftist timeline for you on Obamacare:
Now we skip forward to 2017:
Moreover, 81% of the Obamacare "growth" that liberals talk about has been Medicare, not Obamacare.
When first created, the CBO estimated that 16.5 million would sign up for Obamacare in 2014. This would rise to 21 million by 2015, they said.
Then they lowered this to 12 million in 2014 and 13 million in 2015 and 20 million in 2016.
Then they lowered it to 9 million in 2014.
Now we skip forward to 2017:
Pre-enrollment: Trump is trying to kill Obamacare. No one will sign up!So Obamacare isn't even at the reduced estimates for 2014, yet the left declares a great victory. And then Trump killed it but didn't kill it and it had its greatest enrollment ever despite being less than half the original estimate.
First two weeks of Enrollment Begins: Despite Trump's attempt to kill Obamacare, enrollment is at a massive pace. It is much higher than last year!
Obamacare Signup Period Ends: Ha ha! Way more people signed up for Obamacare despite Trump... but he still sabotaged it and killed it. But in the end, Trump couldn't stop us!
Close of Enrollment: "Almost 9 million people" (8.8 million) signed up for Obamacare in 2017, which is down from the 9.2 million who signed up in Obama's last year (2016), which is down from the 9.6 million who signed up the year before that (2015) -- when we were declaring this the greatest success ever.
Moreover, 81% of the Obamacare "growth" that liberals talk about has been Medicare, not Obamacare.

It's getting hard to keep up with all the ways the left is trying to have it both ways. I've lost track of how many ways I was supposed to have died by now. Who knows? Maybe I did die and this is hell. Although, strangely, this feels like one of those Twilight Zone hells where one person's hell is another person's heaven. I do enjoy watching liberals contort themselves. Schadenfreude doesn't seem very godly, but maybe that's just a misconception on my part.
