Merry Christmas, my friends. I wish you all peace and happiness in this joyous time of year. Be with your friends and family and remember the things that are truly important to you. Remember why we are here. Remember that life is about the things we love, not the things we hate. Remember that forgiveness and caring are the core to happiness. Thanks for being here!

Merry Christmas. I am truly grateful for this site and the friends I have made here. (Even the ones who have slipped away.) You all got me through some of the toughest times of my life by providing good humor, smart insights, and a worthwhile distraction from my former woes. I’m glad that even though those days are well behind me now, I can continue to come here for all the same. Merry Christmas and thank you for the gifts of friendship and camaraderie.
Merry Christmas all. I mainly lurk, but I enjoy the posts and comment banter.
I couldn't have put it better, tryanmax, even if I'm not quite through with my own hard times yet (getting there, though). Merry Christmas, everyone, and there's some extra holiday cheer in your e-mail, Andrew!
Merry Christmas, Andrew. Let me extend that to everyone. I truly appreciate all of your comments and insights. I come here to confirm what I believe as I digest news throughout the year (each year) and try to sort out reality from rhetoric.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
There's not much I can add following tryanmax and AG's comments. The last few months have also been trying for me, personally. (Hence my lack of a presence n the site lately.) Coming here, however, has been a comforting constant and a great way to start my days.
With that, here's a little cheer for you all:
Christmas at PPG Plaza
Sleigh Ride (Carpenters version)
Christmas All Over the World
Feliz Navidad
Now, I must be off to debate with my brothers whether 'Die Hard' is a Christmas movie or not.
Doh! Forgot one: in remembrance of the 105th anniversary of the 1914 Christmas Truce on the Western Front...
Snoopy versus the Red Baron
Rustbelt, Batman Returns is a Christmas movie.
Late to the party but Merry Christmas everyone, and a happy, healthy new year to all of you. Rustbelt, your brother has lost. We've won. HBO lists Die Hard in it's row of Christmas movies now. Our next task is to win the same long overdue recognition for Lethal Weapon. All the best.

Hi everybody! Sorry I'm late responding. I took the last couple days off from the internet and my computer.
tryanmax, I'm happy to hear that! I've always tried to be rational and to see the world for how it really is rather than how people want to see it. In doing so, I've come to the conclusion that the world is a much better place than a lot of people want to believe.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts too! They've always been rational and insightful and I've enjoyed reading them a lot.
ambisinistral, Thanks for lurking and for coming up once in a while to say hello! :)
Daniel, I'm sorry to hear about the hard times you've gone through. I hope life slowly works itself out for you! It will get better. Life always does if you have faith and stay positive! Thanks for the holiday cheer!
Thanks Jon! I'm glad you're here! I'm glad I could help you cut through what's real and what's rhetoric out there. That's so difficult these days because so many people are flat out nuts and so many people set out to exploit people. Taking a deep breath and trying to see the truth has become so vital these days!
Rustbelt, I hope things go better for you soon as well. Life gives us challenges, but in the end, we will see them through. I wish you the best, my friend!
GypsyTyger, Isn't it hilarious that Die Hard is a Christmas movie? It is. It's just so strange to think about.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a safe and happy New Year too! Thanks for all your comments and support this year! :)
Anthony, This is in response to your Christmas wish in the other thread: Merry Christmas! I hope you had a great time and I wish you and yours the best in the coming year!
A belated Merry Christmas to everyone. I haven't been real active lately because the new anti-seizure meds kinda make me tired. The doc says I will get used to them. But I have enjoyed reading everyone's comments lately. Our government is a train wreck. I did watch Die Hard, Christmas with the Kranks, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Scrooged.
Happy New Year to everyone...
